Raven, if you are in the DC area, hit me up via PM. We'll go to Wegmans next time I'm down that way. Which is in a couple of weeks.

I have a Publix just down the street from me, and I have a Wegmans about ten, or so, miles away. Harris-Teeter trucks drive all around RVA, but the nearest stores are in Charlottesville and Williamsburg. They taunt the hell out of me with their trucks driving up and down Hull St. Rd.

I haven’t shopped in Teeter since it was bought by Kroger’s. I’m assuming it’s the same deal, still targeted toward yuppies?

Did you know they’re building a new one on Eisenhower Ave., next to the movie theater?

I was going to post this very thing.

Which also reminds me: Toppers Pizza

    Serves beer too.

I’ve always wondered why you hate Maryland.

Now you reminded me of something.

    I hate Maryland too.

Oh, that's interesting. That'll probably the closest one to the city.

The first time I saw this, I was equally blown away that the weighing/tagging area was self-service.

Pretty sure it’ll be the first one inside the Beltway. Even if it’s only 100 feet inside.
