I have my notes from 8th grade biology, there’s a sentence at the bottom of the page that says ‘discovered the cure for cancer. Continued on next page’ but that next page is missing. Do i still win the Nobel Prize?

I think it was Lindsay Graham who said yesterday that he had been investigated six times. Might have been Chris Christie.

Interesting how bad a nominee this guy turns out to be, and how desperate the conservative establishment is to get him confirmed.

Smart guy? Sure. But there are literally scores of other candidates - men and women - with similar backgrounds and grades and clerkships and career arcs.

Ask yourself why the rush to confirm this particular man rather than some other.

Depends. Did you tell your therapist about it 30 years later? If so, you might still be able to claim it.

Trump wants to cover his flank. If Kavanaugh gets knocked out he has to find another candidate who is as supportive.

It would be nice is journalists put the statements of Senators and other politicians in the context of that persona’s past history of veracity. LindseyGraham is consistent about telling different versions of everything, not just this issue. Trump is a past proved liar and fraud. His statements are not truthful and anything he says needs to be put into that context. SUch as trump, who has been vociferous in defense of abortion rights and vociferous against abortion rights, depending on the audience saidtoday “...lie lie lie”
Once again journalism fails by treating him, and almost everyone else, in a Vacuum. Every day is Groundhog Day and everyone gets a fresh start with a presumption that today they will be civil, moral and honest. Which is how we got trump. Wolf BLitzer and his fellow talking news heads needed the appearance of balance,so forevery new trump allegation which was dismissed as, ‘well its just trump’, and went to Benghazi or emails, which they knew to be closed issues of red herrings. But treated everyday as if they were fresh new allegations. Meanwhile, trump laughs at the murder and torture of US Soldiers in Niger and that can’t get a Page 6 reference.

I told my mommy. SHe said she was very proud and she told Marilyn Fishbain at the Sisiterhood meeting the following Wednesday night. Unfortunately Marilyn has since passed away and my mother forgot which remote to use to turn on the TV and which operates the cable box.

Trump to Nominate Hans Michael Frank III as Deputy Attorney General. His Grandfather was the former Attorney General for Deutschland and Governor-General of Poland

This is happening quickly, and markets had a minor (actually relatively calm) reaction, so I was scrambling to figure out what was going on.

The reporting (Pete Williams of NBC) shifted to, "He has been summoned to the White House and is expecting to be fired."

Then, "He is not resigning of his own accord."

The interesting thing is that if he's about to be fired at the White House. ... Trump is in New York right now.
