    And I get all that. I just think when families are involved, it's a bit different. Probably the setting bothers me too. Protesting at the Capitol Building or Senate offices or statehouse? Awesome! Disrupting a place of business to scream at a politician? Not so much.

    Where's the line? If Cruz's kid is in ballet, should protesters show up to scream at him during The Nutcracker? Berate him during communion at church?

    I agree that certain settings should be out-of-bounds, and that family should be generally off limits. (What do you do about the Trump kids, though? They're adults, and members of the administration.)

    Having said that, the push to criminalize peaceful protest the last few years, if not thwarted, will likely mean that even the most unremarkable gathering at your local courthouse or statehouse or federal building can be subject to felony arrest.
