This smells of a repressive state; pure and simple. We (those in power) don't like what you're saying so we're going to jail you. We're supposed to be a democracy, that means peaceful protest is protected and even encouraged. Funny how when its against their interests, people quickly forget what "Original Intent" means and how the Constitution was born.

The most impactful class I took in law school was Constitutional law, I ate up the readings and discussions on the Bill of Rights; the ten items that are supposed to be inalienable rights of all people of the United States. (I only got a C+, but loved it anyways.) Freedom of Association and Freedom Speech are in our First Amendment for a reason, because that's what the Framers were denied by the British. I wish everyone had the opportunity to study our country's beginnings as in depth.

Guess this means things like those Glenn Beck tea party rallies back when the Spooky Kenyan was in office would become criminal as well...

Careful what you wish for, dummies.

Yeah, those bills are pure BS. And, frankly, un-American to the core.

We'll see. If (more likely when) Fucko decides to whack Mueller, there will be hundreds of thousands in the streets.

And I'm sure plenty of Dumpf's team of stormtroopers is telling him to put it down hard and fast. To say nothing of his tender bedtime phone calls from Uncle Vlad.

Fox News posted the clip from the U.N. and edited out the laughter, because, Fox News.

You can have your opinion but I would ask that you keep your facts straight; I never asked that Glenn Beck or any tea party rally participants be arrested or convicted.

Yes I certainly understand the concept of "be careful for what you wish for...." Look at Reid's short-sighted removal of the filibuster rule. My son in the aftermath of 2016 election was harping on the loss of the popular vote by Trump and saying we needed to change the Electoral College. I reminded him, the Electoral College was the rule at the time of the election and that's what he won. I said why change the rules? How about we just do a better job with the Electoral College rules in mind?

I realize it is a formality, but Kavanaugh's confirmation hasn't been sent forward by the Judicial Committee yet right?

Since we've now posted President Laughingstock at the UN 29 times, maybe worth asking the question as to whether he looks medicated or not.

I know he's teetotal, but he really appears out of it every time I see him.

Too amped-up or too dialed down.

Might just be the fact that he never gives these remarks even a cursory glance before reading them off the Teleprompter, but still. Jesus.

No but Thune's already saying there's going to be a confirmation vote on Monday
    Now Corker is saying Tuesday

Never said that you did. Merely stating that for every Occupy movement that the right will hope the eliminate or intimidate with laws like this there will be a tea party (or whatever AstroTurf nonsense the Heritage Foundation is cooking up) or like minded right rally that will face the same consequences.
