Yeah, the one near Landover is about that far OUTSIDE the beltway. My go-to when I lived in Maryland.

So I got a Publix sub this weekend.

It is very good. Not NYC deli good, but really solid.

Getting it was a bitch because I got behind two ladies who were chatty, full of questions, eventually got everything on their fucking sub and in specific amounts.

Fuck. Just because it’s in front of you, it does not mean it has to go on your sub.

Does anyone else get mayo in an Italian sub?

I lived in South Florida for 3 1/2 years. Overall, I don't miss it. Except for the ocean. And for Publix.

Publix bagger was the primo 16-year-old first job back in my day: $5.35 starting pay and time-and-a-half on Sundays. It was so desirable and hard to get that I ended up settling for minimum wage $5.15 across the street at Winn-Dixie. But you better believe everyone there was waiting for their shot at being hired by Publix.
