They don't want to hand the Democrats a "win" even though they'll have no trouble going to the bullpen for another right-wing, pseudo Christian zealot with less baggage.

 

I hardly see a Kavanaugh confirmation as a "win" fo Republicans. What if more credible accusers emerge after he's on the Court? Not a happy situation for those who voted to confirm.

 

It will trigger the libs. Yooge win.

 

Trump won because too-pure-for-politics progressives poured and fussed about Clinton just enough to hurt the vote in northern swing states.

Voters stayed home. Plague on both houses syndrome.

Nope. Nope nope nope.

I'm not talking about political science - or the after-action reports on why someone somewhere thinks Hillary lost it, or that Jill Stein killed her or that Third Party Gary drained off just enough of the intellectually inert libertarian vote to undo America.

I simply want handwritten apologies - on creamy, 36-pound rag stationery - from the 62,984,825 Americans who voted for this malign dunce.

 

Kavanaugh will get on the SCOTUS
Republicans will keep the House and Senate in November
Trump will be emboldened and fires Mueller
The Republican Congress does nothing in response.

 

They will never change or never apologize.
They're going to dig in even more.
