Libertarians are the political equivalent of vegans: It doesn't take either of them very long to tell you how special they are.

    Bang on, that.
Add crossfitters and atheists to the list and there's an unbeatable hand.

Do they really know everything though? They always seem to act like it.

The father is a liar or insane. Possibly both.

You either need to engineer some massive population shift in the United States or change the Constitution. Other than that, win some elections.

Calling bullshit on all of that. Easiest thing in the world to claim all of that without actually going to the authorities and providing proof. But I suppose this is what we've come to. If we don't believe, 100 percent, what any woman accuses any man of, we're somehow condoning rape.

I agree it’s easy to tell that story. But why would a woman go to authorities if she’s just going to be abused by law enforcement and officials?

You didn't think Scalia was partisan through and through? Somehow the republic survived, as did Roe v. Wade.

Does she know that? Do we know how the Augusta, Me., police force deals with sex crimes as a whole?

would you let your mother or daughter go to the authorities in America to make a complaint about rape where the rapist and victim knew each other before the assault? It’s so easy for a man who knows the woman to say it was consensual.
Why should the Augusta Maine police be more open minded and respectful of women that the United States Senate and President. They are more educated and worldly, presumably, than a local police force in a small city.

Of course I would. What other option do I have? The assumption that any law enforcement agency in any town in America won't respond to rape allegations is absurd.
You're assuming a lot of bad intentions from people you don't know anything about. I know many cops in my town and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to file a complaint or urge a female relative to do so.
And all of this because several women made unsubstantiated allegations against Brett Kavanaugh. Panic much?

I don’t think anyone investigated the allegations. Do you have proof of that investigation? Like a report or an interview with the agent in charge of the investigation ?
