Voter registration is way up. Would think that benefits Dems in the midterms (and I think it has more to do with the Oct. 9 deadline in many states more than any Taylor Swift effect).

And Dems are plus-30 with women at this point.

Certainly nothing is guaranteed, and I won't believe Dem midterm turnout until I see it. But all appear to be good signs for taking the House, at least.

I am too damned old to appreciate that Taylor Swift- a truly terrible artist- could move the needle even a little bit.

 

No reason to doubt him, really. We all know he doesn't (know how to) read the daily intel briefings. I actually think he's telling the truth.

 

I'm certainly not in her demo. Know a couple of songs. She does appear to have a loyal following. But the registration spike was likely due to the deadline. But the increase is a good thing either way.

This is the world we live in: I can't stand Taylor Swift and haven't been able to for a good eight years but now I have to like her.

 

I'm not a fan, either, but she is a very big name.
