One thing about car loans. A car can be repossessed much more easily than a home can be foreclosed. If a loan crash came, banks would be stuck with huge fleets of cars, which would have some value in accounting terms, but pretty much none as a practical matter. They'd have to be sold, and to whom and for what?

Screw that. You can buy a solid, well cared for used car for maybe $6,500 or so. $30k+? Screw that.

Hell, if you are in a tight or just need basic wheels, you can get a Toyota with 200k on the clock for a couple of grand and drive it for another two years, np.

As a rule I won't go over $300 on a car loan. If that means financing longer, so be it. If it means getting an older car, so be it. In 2016 I wanted a 2014 Buick and went with 2013 because the new models didn't fit my budget.

These amateur body language experts crack me up. You know, it's perfectly normal for a non-public person who suddenly finds herself thrust on a stage standing next to the POTUS in front of the world media to appear nervous and perhaps a bit scared. It does not mean she fears her husband.

Word is that the audio/visual files on Khashoggi came from his Apple watch. I'm guessing that he turned it on as he entered the embassy. Poor, brave, doomed man.

In the pic I posted, Principal Skinner isn't scared. He is just doing what he is told to do, and in a rote fashion.
My wife has to show up for one work event a year, the christmas party. Mrs. Kavanaugh (from 00:14:to 00:17) looks exactly like my wife did the year we had a huge fight right before the Christmas party. Fakest smile in history.

OK, I'll give you that. Upon rewatching, that part does remind me of a couple who've recently fought but have to fake it.

But I'd caution against reading too much into it. As noted from your own experience, that's a situation in which virtually every couple has occasionally found themselves.

More likely she's scared because she and her daughters are standing within arm's length of a diseased syphlitic pervert with a professed record of grabbing pussy and charging in to dressing rooms with naked pre-teen girls.

Not to mention what the 400-pound bag of flubber motherfucker must smell like.

I hope, when I'm a feeble 90-year-old in 2050, that I will still be reading Wilt Chamberlain references on message boards.

The way he slaps her on the back sure looks odd to me, but maybe that's just me.

In any event, Kav has already started doing what he was put on the Court for, carrying Trump's water.
