Do we think theres any chance they cancel the saudi show?

I dont but people are talking about it so I guess its a thing.

The pro Saydi ads on Raw arent going to go over well if they do that again. Esp to their new friends at Fox? What a hornets nest

 

They aren't cancelling that show. Way too much money.

 

Those three. Andre for his size and strength. Haku for his toughness. Race for his toughness and willingness to stick a gun in anyone's face.

 

Not to go political here, but several senators, including Dems and Lindsey Graham, are speaking out against it. Plus there's Linda in the cabinet, so it's not necessarily a great look right now.

I don't think they'll cancel it because of the money, but stay tuned.

 

I'm very curious to see how this plays out. If the show goes on, it's basically a version Trump's comments about wanting to keep those big military contracts writ small. If they cancel, that would feel like a sign of political tides turning.

But I was just reading about this Saudi prince....awful stuff.

 

Yeah, the coming weeks ahead could be quite interesting. I wonder if Linda makes a phone call to her boss and asks him to issue a travel advisory or some sort of thing so that gives cover to them to cancel.

 

Apparently there are more than a few superstars backstage that are against going.

 

I do not blame them. It’s nice to see some of them take a stance. Hopefully they do not back down.

 

John Oliver talked about it on his show on HBO so it's only gonna intensify until November 2. Although there have been some rumblings yesterday that WWE was considering moving the show to Manchester, England but it's apparently false. I guess Vince prefers the Saudis money over the sponsorship and respect he worked so hard to get from the mainstream media.

 

Did Vince ever really have mainstream respect? Id say no. ESPN will continue their cozy relatiobship. He doesnt care a lick about cnn or the network news.

The only way Vince cares about this is if the stock tanks. And honestly canceling and giving the Prince back a billion dollars would probably be worse for the stock than a John Oliver segment. Thats the world as it is, and its not exclusive to wrestling.

Maybe the most ridiculous thing about this situation is Mayor Jacobs has to release statements addressing it for the fine people of Knoxville. Lol.
