Good point. Should be "hired at Harvard Law."

Well if the Democrats are too dangerous to govern, what does that make this?

Hook, like and sinker ... Trump swallowed the whole story, if he even actually made the call.

I saw it. Good article. If you're including me in "those who say otherwise," that wasn't what I was saying, though on rereading my post I can see that it might have given that impression. My point is that after she was hired, Harvard counted her Native American status for its diversity purposes. If you don't see that there's something objectionable about counting someone with 3% Native American ancestry as Native American for diversity purposes, we just disagree. (It seems to me like she did contribute to diversity, but more as someone from a non-coastal elite background. I believe DQ described some months ago how rare it is for someone with her background to get hired at a place like Harvard Law, though that was before the Globe article & I think he was implying that her ancestry must have mattered.)

Even though she doesn't seem to have done anything wrong, I don't think being closely identified with diversity politics will help her in either a Democratic primary campaign (as a 97% white woman) or a general election campaign. Not sure what she can do to get opponents to stop raising the issue, though.

The Dems should not nominate any candidate who is older in 2020 than Trump was in 2016....or close to that age.

Good thing the hit team brought along a bone saw just in case he was "accidentally" killed and needed to be chopped up and disposed of.
