Yeah. I think she’s safe for that one.

I get that interpretation, but it's really my extreme disdain for "Heads I win; tails you lose" analyses.

I don't want Trump anywhere near what happens in North Korea. Therefore, I won't criticize him if he lets China/Japan/Russia do all the heavy lifting over there.

It’s a monumentally stupid fight for her to pick right now.

It’s not only feeding the troll, but it’s proof he’s been in her head for TWO YEARS in a way only a professional genius like OOP can haunt one’s psyche with his waterproof logic and awe-inspiring rhetorical flourishes.

20-24 million liberals watch ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC nightly
2-4 million conservatives watch FoxNews, ONEAmerica and the Sinclair local news programs.

The NY Times and Wash Post have a combined 1 million daily circulation.

WSJ is about 2.3 million. If they lacked an editorial department that would drop to 2.1 million.

Fox is niche/cult entertainment delivery system. Why CNN and MSNBC refer to them is beyond belief. But its the same reason that Warren and Clinton continually get baited by trump.

Fight trump with trump. Insult his fat ass back. Hit back harder. Bring his ex-wives into the fight, bring his failing businesses into every day. Shitty hotels, empty golf courses. Loves Al Queda bankers

    Disagree.

It proves her original point. It defuses to an extent his wisecracks.

And it does all this two years before the next presidential election.

Now she can ignore it, and ignore him.

Don't forget, he was going to keep punching her with this no matter what she did.

    Oh, God.

This is like trying to best the schoolyard bully by quoting Tennyson at him and putting together a group to to do a Monty Python skit re-enactment to win over the bully's enablers.

The left has learned nothing over the last two years.

    We are so fucked.

It's really not like that at all.

As was said upthread, there's no correct counterattack against someone who will literally say anything.

Trump was and is going to beat her over the head with this no matter what she does.

    Now she can ignore him.

I'll also be shocked if she's the Democratic candidate.

The Democratic Party is the Nebraska football of politics. Still catering to the interest of the old boomer hippie thinking he good old days are right around the corner as soon as they find the right guy. Part of me hopes Beto loses so they can get to work on Beto 2020 while the other part of me knows they’ll fuck it up because they’re still looking lovingly at Hillary, Warren and a 300-year-old biden.
