    Michael-
Even Trump knows their seething hatred is the propane fuel for all of this. There is no such thing as happiness for this voting bloc.
He has to keep them angry by any means possible (and occasionally remind them they're getting two bucks more a paycheck).

Not as bad but it’s coming. And it pains me to say it.

I don't think we have the same percentage of racists, or morons, or perpetually aggrieved. I think Canadians are generally happier. Someone like Trump flourishes in fear and hate.

The problem here is the multiple choice elections. Totally possible that someone with 40 percent of the vote crushes, and it's always going to be the centre and left that splits itself.

That's a tremendous pull for this Star Wars nerd.

It is baffling to me how angry the Trumpublicans are. Still. They've fucking won every battle the last two years. And still that fucking angry.

I get pissed off about what has happened. But it also doesn't dominate my life.

For the first time in a long time, Dem anger, especially among college-educated women, seems to be stronger. Hopefully it translates into votes.

I am an old enough former hippie to still believe in karma. The hatred and anger of these horrible people is essentially self-hatred (his too). It's the same emotion my pitching wedge often brings out in me. But then that goes away. These people live with emotions that are ruining their own lives. So, once again, fuck 'em.

I believe in it as well. Throughout all our history the bad guys have never won in the long-term in this country.
Look at these rallies (many of them held in states - shocking - that had once to be readmitted to the union.)
The crowds piss people like my wife off. I am happy to see it, knowing this is the best that shit is ever going to be for them, and they're still miserable.

You think I'm making that up?

There's no such thing as Muslim no-go zones in Europe, but Fox News says there are, so there are.

Obama needed to bring Bowe Bergdahl home until he did and Fox News said he should have left him with the enemy.

Trayvon Martin was just going home, minding his own business, until Fox News convinced everyone he wasn't.

Christine Blasey Ford was telling the truth, until Fox News said her story had holes in it.

The DNA test Elizabeth Warren took said she had native American ancestors until Fox News said that it didn't.

It's still crazy how many Trumplicans are still bringing up the 2016 election. It's been two years already. Your guy won. Get over it and act like your party has won a presidential election before.

Personal responsibility doesn't apply to Republicans.
