It'll be interesting to see if any Mueller news comes out in the next 20 days. My guess is nothing will. He and his team have been the model of professionalism. Unlike Comey.

Kushner is a shit, but I don't think we can exactly trust that the Saudi prince wouldn't simply make up that that the President's SIL is the source of the info without some sort of verification.

 

McConnell is disgusting. He’s heading into Paul Ryan territory. Cut taxes for the wealthy and cut benefits for the poor. Wow, what a great formula. They are the enemy. Once upon a time there were good, decent Republicans like Jacob Javits and Charles Percy. They would have been ashamed of these Ayn Rand-style assclowns.

 

I don't think Comey handled it well, but I understand his dilemma. He was in a helluva tough spot. Mueller's investigation has nothing to do with the many individuals involved in the upcoming mid-term elections, so I don't see an issue with issuing indictments or what have you in the coming weeks.

The Presidency is a different animal.

 

Gotta disagree on Comey. There was no tight spot. Issue the report in July 2016 without his bullshit commentary. And don't drop a giant nothing-bomb nine days before the election. He should not have done either of those things.

Having said that, my bad for bring up 2016. That's the Trumpublican thing. Onward and upward in three weeks, hopefully.

Whenever it happens, hopefully Mueller drops a big-ass hammer.
