I got a text from a buddy at 12:01 AM: "Just got high legally for the first time. Doesn't feel any different."

 

Man, back in the day I could’ve gotten Charlie Daniels one helluva licensing deal for THE officially licensed CDB oil.

But, Charlie’s done gone ‘round the bend.

 

There's a guy I went to high school with who wasn't very bright. A great guy, all-state wrestler, who was nicknamed "Odie" after the dog in "Garfield," for obvious reasons. He's now a successful car salesman and locally-elected politician in Florida who is, near as I can tell, doing great things for his area.

I watched the local debate for his seat live on Facebook mostly because I couldn't believe that, not only was he running for office, but he's the incumbent. Ya know what? He knew all the issues affecting his town or county cold. He had legit answers for every question asked and you could see him connecting with the audience. You could tell he had done the work to prepare for the questions he'd face.

If "Odie" were up for election against the dunce in the White House tomorrow, I'd happily vote for him and at least I'd know he was going to put in the work to try to understand the issues he was facing instead of thinking he can just say things like "We're going to look at that very seriously" or "I would totally visit the troops if I weren't so busy calling a pornstar 'horseface' on Twitter after I'd paid her hush money to keep secret that I fucked her while my wife was pregnant with my youngest son."

 

So reports say the forensic specialist is on tape telling those in the room to listen to music while he dismembers Khashoggi.

I’m quite sure the endorsement from Steve King was highly sought after!

Although, full disclosure, for all I know it’s an Onion piece.

Saudi Arabia is governed on barbaric ISIS principles; it is totally fascist and corrupt. By comparison, Iran is a country with a much more liberal democratic government with better protection for human rights.

Instead of invading Iraq after 9/11 we should have invaded Saudi Arabia, the country the spawned 19 out of 23 the hijackers and also has actively funded and supported foreign schools that rationalize senseless mass murder.
