Tax returns. Hit him where he lives.

Expose him to his base for what he is, a flim flam man.

The cult of personality Donald’s built has to be burned down to the ground.

Depends on whether they take both houses or just one.

What they can do affirmatively will have a lot to do with how much time they have to spend fending off Trump, and what trouble he creates.

But I think ethics and finance violation investigations would be immediate; the Mueller probe; campaign finance reform; voting rights and redistricting reform.

There'd certainly be some tinkering with things like the minimum wage.

I think there'd be a slowdown in some of the most draconian immigration stuff.

I'm still not convinced the Democrats pick up enough seats to do any of this.

Donald’s made the point numerous times how “respected” the United States is now around the world.

    That means nothing.

There has to be a fear component.

The fear of what will happen if say the Saudis do what they did. Think they fear Donald and what he could do? No and fuck no. He’s an idiot on the world stage. Openly laughed at.

Here's the DSA/DNC wish list in part, but I don't think most of these get a hearing with Trump on the throne.

It's like 1936 all over again!

He's already been exposed as such over and over. They don't care.

    Madman Theory.

Except it doesn't work unless they really believe at some point, you'll pull the trigger.

There's nothing Trump's base objects to, except criticism of Trump. The amorality is staggering.

Anything you "pin" on Trump will simply be viewed as part of a hit campaign by a bunch of haters in cahoots with a crooked Justice Department. And they're the ones who are viewed as amoral.

Under that backdrop, it's impossible for a Trump supporter to change his mind. If anything, he'll dig in deeper.

It’s no longer dealing with a political leader. It’s dealing with a cult leader. Only electoral defeat in 2020 will break the spell, if even then.

All together now, the Trump base constitutes about 23 percent of the electorate.
The minds that need to be changed are the centrists and women voters who went for Trump in 2016.
Not a bunch of fuckheads on a college football fan forum.
