I don't disagree at all on the first half of that. The ad is appalling. It's also from what appears to be a first-rate crackpot from another state, with no apparent connection to Arkansas or the candidate who has denounced it or the candidate's campaign.
Also of note is that the guy behind the ad, Vernon Robinson, apparently bought time for a similar one in Missouri:

So, going in the Saudi kill squad knew the deal.

Possibility that it could go wrong and they would take the fall, meaning they would be killed themselves.

Did any of them have a backup plan?

Are they all 'contained' at this time, or have any of them gone to ground?

I'd think the Saudis would keep them close, but we'll find out.
