Watched an episode of Bargin Mansions recently. Holy crap, on the reveal you could see flaws in damn near every beauty shot.

Not much since Trump would veto anything they pass. But taking even just the House would prevent the Republicans from doing any further damage to health care for at least the next two years.

    Exactly.

To Alma's point, there's only so much even a majority Democrat congress can do.

And 'slow things down a little' may be it.

And the only reason the "nuke thing" exists is because of whom America just "decided" to become friends with.

If America had become friends with Iran (forgetting that coup in 1953 and all that other stuff) and Saudi Arabia and Russia were allies, then SA would be seeking the nuke to protect themselves against a US coup attempt.

Behavior is never an issue and has never been an issue (see Cuba pre-Castro).

It's "will you play ball with us and wear this leash without making too much of a fuss"? If the answer is yes, then boom, you're an ally.

Fine, if he wants to go that route, I'll be cheering when this asshole drops dead of a heart attack.

Also, re: voting. Just put my absentee ballot in the mail since I'll be out of state at a conference on Election Day. Pretty boring election in my district ... voting for a shoo-in Dem for the House, Kaine-Stewart for the Senate, and two state Constitutional amendments. Still, good to have my voice heard.

Yearning for the days that there was a sane R choice on the ticket. Corey Stewart ain't it. Kaine isn't perfect by any means, but Stewart is batshit crazy and must be voted against.

Trump last night was praising a guy for bodyslamming a reporter. A few days ago, he called a woman "Horseface."

This morning on Fox, they were lamenting the incivility from "the Left."

Oh yeah, and Fox is also pimping the voter fraud stuff, that it's widespread. Already planting the seed in their zombie populace that if the Dems win the House, it's illegitimate. Fuck Fox News with a rusty scythe.

Of course the Republicans could try to use their 5-4 majority on the Supreme Court to nix the ACA if Trump can flip Roberts.
