I agree that getting in someone face in a restaurant might be crossing the line, and for most run of the mill elected officials, it certainly is. McConnell is different, in my opinion. He goes in public and crows about how he is screwing over the average American, so I have no sympathy for him. Clearly trying to speak to politicians doesn't work. Just look at how Hatch shook his hand at that woman and told her to grow up.

Also, selling out your own constituents for truckloads of corporate cash crosses a line, too.

If you see a pol you don't like walking down the street and you let him know you don't like him, is that harassment? You are paying his or her salary. In theory, you are one of his or her bosses.

Have you ever been a boss? If so, did you yell at/berate your employees?
If so, you were a shitty boss

You do you man. If you think that's an effective way to deal with things, have at it. I'll just shake my head and think, what an asshole.

This nation was founded on making a fucking scene in public. Making a fucking scene in public is enshrined in the Constitition.

Mitch McConnell is more responsible for internally undermining the American system than any other individual, given his pathetic insistence on daily political victories for his party and donors rather than compromise and working for the common good of all Americans. If he wants to eat restaurant food without being called to account for that civic sin, he can download GrubHub or Uber Eats to his phone.

(Who am I kidding? He’s never operated his own smartphone in his life.)

Let's start a war! Is that what you're saying?
Organize the revolution. Send me a form. I'm in!!

Look, I'm as unhappy as anyone this clown is our president and millions of people think that's OK. I want him out as much as anyone. I think McConnell is awful.
But loons yelling at people in public isn't going to change a damn thing and anyone who thinks it will is delusional. That's not the type of "making a scene in public" on which this nation was founded. If thinking that way makes you feel better about people being dopes, well, I guess that's good.

I wouldn't bother to yell at a pol. It IS pointless. But I understand why others would. How about those 300,000 voters stripped from the rolls in Georgia by the Secretary of State who's running for Governor. How are they to express their political opinions?

I get the frustration, too, Michael. I really do. I just think it is a waste of breath that does no good and very likely does NOT make the yeller feel better.
And if we say it is OK, we can't get upset when right-wingers harass someone on "our" side.

That's it for me. Time for a walk and then work. I'll try not to yell at anyone while I'm walking! Y'all have a great day.

How often does McConnell offer his constituents a town hall forum?
