Judging by the polling, even pro-Trumpers think a Dem Congress might rein in his excesses and make him a better President.

 

Many Trump voters were Democrats 25 years ago. They felt forced out of the party by the social-agenda wing.

 

Absolutely. I was just noticing polling that showed the President at 45 percent approval, 52 pct disapproval (NBC) and the Generic Congressional at a a 50-41 split in favor of the Dems (same poll).
