Everybody has a problem with you because you bring your obsession about idiots and nobodies' tweets and rants here. It is frigging annoying.

 

56 years ago the president's press secretary said, "The president is canceling the rest of his Chicago trip because he has a cold," and that's how it was reported.

He actually was heading back to Washington to deal with the Cuban missile crisis.

So no, we didn't get the true story that day on why he canceled his trip. But then, we weren't presented with 36 theories about WHY he canceled the trip.

 

Markay - a conservative, incidentally, or presumably one - has lived in Washington DC for years. What possible appreciation or understanding could or would he have for a caravan of refugees who won't make it within 1,000 miles of where he lives?

As a comparison piece, consider that Paris and Berlin are roughly 650 miles from each other. Houston and DC are 1,400 miles.
