    The way some folks think the Democrats and Republicans of 2018 are similar in their views as their counterparts in the 1860s is proof of the idiocy of said folks.

    I was in a pissy mood about yesterday's events when someone sent me Trump's tweet about the baseball. The absurdity of it had me laughing for hours. In a way, I needed that.

    Maybe that energizes more voters, but I'm not sure it changes many minds. Democrats tend to get the Jewish vote. Pittsburgh tends to vote for Democrats.
