Boy did ManU just pull one out of their ass at Bournemouth.

They did, but they completely outplayed Bournemouth in the final 15-20 minutes. They had a couple shots that were just wide and one off the bar.
    Bournemouth was just hanging on.

And good God, my Hornets laid a turd at St. James Park. Should have scored three times in the first half, at least. Instead, sloppy back end play leads to Newcastle's first win of the year. Oof.

Not exactly the Premier League, but I got a chuckle out of this.

Some unconscionably bad officiating in the Watford-Southampton match today. Both teams got royally screwed out of a goal. Saints will argue they should have won 2-1, but Watford absolutely should have been awarded a penalty for a blatant tackle in the box as well.

Now it can be told. My daughter got a very large wine and champagne order at her firm on the phone from none other than Drogba himself about 10 days ago for a "retirement party."

When FC Dallas' coach leaves to take a job at FC Tijuana, that tells you all you need to know about FC Dallas.
