    He doesn't care about follow through or legal justification. It's about riling the base and then later maybe blaming Congress/the media

    Why the hell is Trump sending troops to the border? The wall there should be enough of a deterrent for that evil caravan.

    Doubt it.
    If the executive order is unconstitutional, the remedy would be defeat of the order in the courts.
    I’m just guessing here, but if he signs an order, the ACLU et al will seek an injunction and will get it.
    That would initiate litigation and a long process.
    Can any actual lawyers weigh in?
