I renounce Farrakhan. So far as I can tell he has little influence other than of a small group.

There are other, far more active racists, who are in the news every week and in some cases near daily.


Is it your opinion that it was the racist speech of Louis Farrakhan that inflamed the shooter at the Pittsburgh synagogue?

 

This is a fairly long tweet string, written by an educated and articulate woman. She expresses the factors that have informed her view of politics over the last couple of decades extremely well.

Farrakhan is bad. Is that enough condemnation? For every Farrakhan there are 10-20 blatant racists on the Right including the Fucking President that called Nazis very fine people. Other than that great point Maggie.

 

When Democrats make Farrakhan the President, the whataboutism will be valid.

 

I tend to hold the President if the United States to a higher standard than somebody like that.

 

It should also be noted that Farrakhan endorsed Trump.

 

No, it underscores how much some people on the right will lie to themselves and others in order to justify what President Trump represents.

Yes, politicians on the left need to be more careful about taking pictures with Farrakhan, but this idea that he still has real influence is a joke. Yes, he's a bigot. He's also not running for office.

I think somebody posted about this earlier, but this article has pictures of the "small protest" in Pittsburgh that President Trump claimed he didn't see. If he didn't, it was because the marchers weren't allowed to reach the synagogue.
