    Separate problem. Pelosi is a legislative whiz and demon fundraiser. She's the party's McConnell, who's also incredibly unpopular. The Democrats do need new blood, but a party whose base is women won't get far dumping its woman leader. Has to be her call. If they get the majority, I wouldn't be surprised if she took the gavel for symbolism's sake and then stepped down.
