Their identity as white people is more important to most Republican voters than any economic issue.

Didn't you hear though? His candidate had a muslim-sounding name (even though he is a christian). That's all the voters of SoCal had to see. The Circus on Showtime (or maybe it was Vice News) talked to people in that district a month or so ago. The one guy, a hispanic gentleman probably about 50, said just because there were all these indictments doesn't mean there's any evidence of wrongdoing. The person asking the questions didn't even have a comeback for that.

One of the TV reports I saw last night said a bunch of votes in AZ don't even get counted until tomorrow and it is from an area that generally goes blue. Is that actually true?

I think that has a lot to do with California who had two Democrats running against each other with no Republican.

Still about a half-million votes to count and about 400k are from Maricopa County, which is the Phoenix area. So yeah, it could definitely lean blue.

As many as 20 percent of Arizona votes have yet to be counted, because in a tribute to illogic, early votes get counted last. Could be days, not just today. No telling who it favors.

Democrats won the Senate combined vote by six million even if you take out California.

It looks like they'll end up winning 22 or 23 out of the 35 Senate races yesterday. They lost ground because that was almost literally all there was room to do because all the seats that were up were already Democratic.

You don't need all the states to agree; you just need 2/3rds of Congress (or 2/3rds of states to call for a convention) to propose give change of representation and then 3/4ths of states approve it either by legislatures or at a convention. But good luck getting 38 states to go along with that let alone 2/3rds of Congress.
