Probably about the same. Campaigning for the party that wins is always gonna produce a better record than campaigning for the one that loses. The main thing this election proved is that Trump is not immune from political gravity and normal political processes, such as being unpopular costing his party seats in the midterm. Economy or now, if he can't get his approval rating above 45 percent, he will be a one-term President.
And the thing is, it'd be so easy to do, at least in theory. My senior golf league is full of guys whose main complaint about Trump is all the drama. "Undignified" and "unprofessional" are words they use while also saying that in some ways, primarily the economy, they think he's doing an OK to good job. To win them over, all Trump would have to do is quiet down and do normal President stuff. But he can't not be the center of attention for even a half-day news cycle. It kills him. And so the drama will continue.

Yes! I had just seen that. I can also imagine him taking a step towards someone.
They use to talk about Hillary and Bill having shouting matches, I have heard the same about him, unfortunately, it did not get much coverage.

I think the key with confronting Trump is that you don't go after him, you go after the people around him who lack his teflon, you continue to isolate him and take away people he trusts so he's left working with people he doesn't.
I can only imagine what the WH is like behind doors if THIS is what happens in front of them.

The only people he truly trusts are Ivanka and himself. If it came to it he’d throw Jared and Donnie Jr overboard without a second thought. Eric would be gone with no thought.

He's trapped on the highway to Mueller. No exits, no off-ramps, no way out. His pick to screw up the Trump/Russia is too blatant and odious to get away with, and should be forced aside fairly quickly.

He's made an overt threat to impair Mueller. Today is Friday. It will be interesting to see if something drops this afternoon.
