Taking nukes away from Trump ought to be priority one for the entire world.

White House correspondents Kelly O'Donnell and the NBC one, Katy Tur (?), sorry, bad with names my whole life, are defending the weather kept Trump from doing this story. Both should be fired immediately. They cover the fucking White House. If they don't know that what the President wants happens logistically, they're too stupid to hold their microphones. He didn't want to go, so he didn't. Pretty obvious they didn't want to go either. Hope they enjoyed dinner at whatever Joel Robuchon joint their networks are picking up their tabs.

Perhaps Trump is saving his words of consolation for Vlad, who may need them.

Question, if somebody seeking asylum, are they, by definition, entering country legally or can they be prosecuted for illegal entry if they don't "do it the right way"?

    Nope.

The US fought the Red Army with 11,000 troops when it sided with the Whites in the Russian civil war (1918-25).

In other words, the US, formed by rebels in opposition to a monarchy, supported a faction that supported political monarchism against the rebels to Russian monarchy.

    Because of course we did.

    "R-Calif." ... that's a hoot. If we're going for accuracy, it's "R-Moscow Oblast."

You'd think a Russian agent would have a better understanding of Eastern Europe.

When did we fight Russians in World War I?
We were just getting in as they were getting out, we were on the same side (or at least both against Germany), and our theaters of operations didn't overlap. The Americans fought on the Western front and the Russians on the Eastern front.

Beats me. I thought they were on the same side, too.
