    Amazingly, the mule kicking field goals wasn't the most surprising thing in Gus. It was Dick Van Patten playing a mobster / bookie. It was also one of Bob Crane's last acting roles, for what that is worth.

    Sirius XM First Wave channel once did a block of song that featured, in a row, "Lies" by the Thompson Twins, "Bigmouth Strikes Again" by the Smiths and "No New Tale to Tell" by Love and Rockets.
