Has he applied for and been denied a day pass?

I’ve never covered the white house, obviously, but in sports its realllllly not that big a deal to get day credentials instead of the fancy season deals the guys from the writers associations have.

Its probably not exactly the same (?) but does anyone know if its close enough that this is a mountain/mole hill deal

The season passes provide access to places the day passes don't, or so I'm told. Primarily, I think they allow the holders to go outside on the lawns to do live shots.

Do you think maybe the racist traitor in chief stayed "home" yesterday and didn't go to Arlington out of spite for not getting his military parade? Has to have factored in, right?

True in Europe, but we did the lion's share of the work in defeating Japan.

It's not quite mountain/mole hill because of the reason Acosta was banned and the doctored video that followed it.

Of course I repeat: If a sports reporter did that at any press conference - refused to give up the mic and brought his arm down, even gently, on a SID assistant, it would be ripped to shreds here. Ripped to shreds. Apparently, because Acosta is doing BIG WORK of lighting into the president, it's not only necessary but praiseworthy.

I stand in the same place I did on the talk about thread before any of this went down. Jim Acosta's not and never has been particularly good as his job.

Yeah, it's all theater for Fucko. Bravo for another rousing sideshow.

And then one of his slobbering psycho-fans goes out and shoots up another church or school or bar.

Very true. Once again, US logistical prowess was the big factor. This is not to downplay bravery and sacrifice, but the ability to expand our Navy by a factor of almost 10 in three years,, with trained personnel to man the ships, was an amazing accomplishment of industrial management.

I'm sure the British and the French would have appreciated some of that remarkable Soviet get-up-and-go against the Nazis prior to 1941.

Trump gets on twitter and squawks and foams. The French are far more subtle and much better at trolling him.
