    Hereby pushing forth a motion that @Moderator1, @The Big Ragu, @Elliotte Friedman et al consider allowing a new thread that would serve as an ongoing discussion about the coming race for the Democratic Party Presidential Nominee.

    I think it would be entertaining and informative to have a stand-alone place to check what's going on in the races, without having to wade through 20 posts about Trump's latest tweet.

    Look—23 Democrats are already running for president. But no, a white guy won't win

    Their entry date was pre-determined at Yalta, when we had no idea whether the atomic bomb would actually work. Had it been a dud, and had we needed to invade Japan, we certainly would have appreciated Russia's assistance, in recapturing mainland China and the home islands.

    Whitaker's elevation to 'acting' AG reminds me of when Al Davis hired a guy running a bed-and-breakfast in Idaho to be one of his coordinators.
