You just knew he was gonna start talking about stuff like evidence and proof. You know those people.

 

I loved that CNN sent Acosta to cover Trump's European trip, where the WH does not control press access.

 

At the risk of stating what is obvious to everyone but Rainman (who probably also knows it but will continue to pretend not to understand), the military wasn't sent to the border out of fear. It was sent as part of a campaign to *cause* fear, from talking as though a caravan 1,000 miles away and traveling on foot would "invade" the country just any day now to saying that there were ISIS terrorists among them, to saying that the asylum seekers were carrying a dozen terrible diseases including leprosy. The intent was to drive the Republican midterm vote.

Trump sent them to "protect" the border after doing everything he could to fan that fear.

 

Also, there were few comparable instances of a commander in chief....creating a fake university, praising Russian and NK dictators, having more wives than days of public service before inauguration, claiming his immediate predecessor was ineligible to be president, attacking immigrants after he married two of them, talking about "the embrace", showing profound ignorance of his country's history, being addicted to cable news....

Remember, though, we're dealing with Trump here. The same Trump who is wondering why people are angry he didn't attend the ceremonies in Paris. How could he not see the fallout from skipping the events?

 

At this late date, do people still not understand how isolated and deeply incompetent this man is?
