Here's an inverse way of looking at it: Which politician is a consummate truth-teller? I'm not saying there isn't one, but I'm just curious: Who should be America's north star?

Further, Dale, ostensibly a reporter - what else is a correspondent? - is reaching on the notion that Trump lies here. Trump may be saying the Senate didn't confirm Mueller as special counsel, not that Mueller was never confirmed as FBI director.
