    Maggie Haberman tweeted that before they all gave up, White House staff would try to keep Trump away from interviews with conservative outlets, because he'd relax and say stuff like he did to the Daily Caller yesterday.

    Maine's ranked-choice system gives Democrat Golden the victory (to be litigated by loser) in its 2nd district. This makes Susan Collins the only Republican Senator or Representative in New England.

    For what it's worth, this relates back to the Alabama case of bribery of a state Senator in order to get him to front for derailing Drummond Coal's being held responsible for creating a Superfund site in North Birmingham.
