President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

The Democrats rep rich, liberal snobs. What an accomplishment.

 

Setting aside the "normal" thing - who knows what is - I'm just pretty confident the bases are covered on outrage over Trump.

 

I've been around people like Trump a good portion of my life. I grew up around blowhards, talking shit, telling lies, men whose outward manners masked inner insecurity. It's nothing new to me, even as I find ugly and stupid.

Trump is being called on his stuff. Daily. I just don't find quoting tweets from journalists, then writing the words "dipshit" or "fucko" all that novel.

 

So here's a question: Will Pelosi, after helping Democrats to a strong election win, really get bumped from Speaker because the new kids in the House - who know nothing about even being in Congress - have judged her unworthy of the role?

 

I'm not outraged. I just see stupid shit, and "normal" people pointing it out, day after day.

I'm pretty sure I have a grasp on who 'normal' people are.

 

I also grew up around men like Trump.
And also around men who would tell men like Trump to shove it.
That is not happening in this political culture.
