When Alan and his wife challenged a Minnesota income tax assessment, I was the original lawyer representing the State. We had to hire outside counsel when Alan joined the AG’s office. I thought it was a slam dunk win for the State, but Alan won the Tax Court case, avoiding paying additional income taxes. Could be what Trump most admires about him.

 

Which is a far cry from suggesting that nobody knows this fact, as Trump suggested.

 

And he knows it too. Yet he plays right into it. Acosta made himself part of the story and that's unfortunate.

 

It's been what, three weeks since the Series ended? And while I didn't get to see much of Fox's coverage, I'm sure Ruth's 14-inning complete game win over the Brooklyn Robins in Game 2 of the 1916 Series came up.
