    Yes. Defend themselves, and stop relying on us.

    Of course I am, but we aren’t talking about WWII. We’re talking about them solely relying on us.

    Of course I do, but people like me were laughed at by the dumbass who previously held the office of POTUS, saying the 1980’s called and they want their foreign policy back.

    I have no idea how you come to your presumptions. I just want France, and the rest of Europe, to pay their fair share and/or start learning to defend themselves. I don’t believe in isolationism, we should aid our allies, but we can’t do ALL the heavy lifting.

    I am certain the people who balk at our contribution to NATO are the same folks who push for a flat rate income tax.

    They're likely the ones who overestimate our outlay for "foreign aid" by an order of magnitude. Or two.
