President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

One of the things that has confused me from the get-go is how so many vets/active duty support him. He is a draft dodger. I know several Viet Nam vets who are all about him. I call them out. "While your ass was getting shot at, his daddy was paying his way out. How do you feel about that?" They generally don't respond.

 

The support of Trump is 100% because he's as racist as his supporters are, and that's why they are willing to look beyond everything else.

 

In case you missed it, during his drive-by tour in California, Fucko the Klown solemnly expressed his thoughts and prayers concern for the devasted town of "Pleasure" – twice – before bystanders corrected him to "Paradise."

What a fucking buffoon.

And, he's since frequently joked about spending the Vietnam years fucking and being fucked by anything that moved, of either gender, in the basement bathroom stalls of NYC discos, while the grunts were getting their asses shot off.

And then, of course, disparaging McCain's POW status.

If there was anything -- ever -- which would have brought forth the Man With Three Names, I figure that would have done it. But there's still a lot of Vietnam vets out there. So stay tuned!! We'll see!!

 

Here’s the thing, Trump truly believes that his dad did the right thing by paying his way out of the draft. Because anyone in that position would do the same thing.

It is weird how you get stamped by the times you live in. I was born in 1970 and Communism will still be the great enemy for me. Even if everyone else got the memo to lay off five seconds after the Berlin wall fell, I just can't move on.

The enormity of the Cold War just loomed as an everyday fact in your life. If you didn't live through it, you don't get it. For me, It's like when my grandparents used to talk about the Depression or how jazz used to be popular music.
