We are in agreement that unborn children are capable of forming coherent thought. Not sure why anyone would believe that and support abortion but that's for you to figure out.

 

So I'm guessing she got the "standard incumbent/likely to win" contribution. Still surprised a rookie incumbent like this is worthy of the respect/trouble. She doesn't control a committee or sub-committee at this point and will do whatever McConnell tells her to do. I'm guessing the less they have to depend on Murkowski, Collins and another potential heretics, the better.

 

There is a lot of truth in that. Protested Vietnam, elected leaders who didn't serve in their generation's defining conflict, who sold out labor with NAFTA, and in more than a few cases helped undermine labor unions by accepting two-tiered benefits that gave less to new members while they kept theirs, opted for tax cut after tax cut (don't forget property tax reform) that gutted public education and local government budgets.

 

Oh well.

 

Many of them went to college on Pell grants in the 60s and 70s, then voted for a president (Reagan) who elected to slash funding in favor of student loans. But hey, they got theirs so fuck everyone else, right?

Because Europe and Japan are not in ruins, and China awoke from its century-long coma a quarter-century ago.

"Generations" are by and large innocent bystanders of the events they inherit and live through.
