With 8:01 left in 3rd, Philip Rivers is 25-25 for 224 yards.

Phillip Rivers is 25-for-25 for 224 yards and three touchdowns against the Cardinals. He tied the NFL record with 25 straight completions on a touchdown pass to Keenan Allen that made it 35-10 halfway through the third quarter.

The record for consecutive completions in one game was 22 if I heard correctly. Thought they said Tennehill had 25 straight over two games.
The Cardinals are terrible, but still very impressive by Rivers.

Is it OK to say outloud that Christian McCaffrey is an elite athlete?

The Broncos in all orange hurt my eyes.

Thanks. I have Red Zone on, but we also have a dryer running that sounds like an 18-wheeler is idling in the house and it was hard to hear exactly what they said at first.

I assume that was about the 97-yard touchdown, which was a great play by Roethlisberger and Smith-Schuster. Roethlisberger just put your guys back in the game with a terrible throw. The Steelers have been incredibly sloppy today.

Edit: The Steelers just gave away another drive. They have beaten the Broncos deep on double moves three times this half. Roetlisberger missed on one and Washington just dropped another. (That wasn't a great throw, either, but it should have been caught.)

The Steelers will win this late. Which has been the Broncos' season at home this season. Best home-field advantage and can't win these close games. Chiefs, Rams, Texans.

As a homer of the Bay Area who thought McCaffrey deserved the Heisman his junior season, I will say you are not just allowed, but encouraged.

It really is amazing how many gifts the Steelers are giving the Broncos today. Conner just had a huge gain on a screen and fumbled at the end of it. He didn't even get hit near the ball. He just mishandled it while trying to hurdle a defender. That is three ugly turnovers, two that gave away points and another that set up the tying touchdown.

The Steelers seem determined to prove you wrong. They just can't stop screwing up.
