    And Adam Vinatieri has spent more than half his career with the Colts. He’s still a Patriot in my mind.

    Is Babe Ruth still a pitcher in your mind?

    Funny story about him. A while back, he took his kids to Boston to visit friends and hang out. Some fans stopped him for his autograph. His kids were surprised that fans in Boston recognized him, until he told them he used to play for the Patriots. His kids were in shock that he played for them. It was that long ago.

    Carry on.

    Braves with a pair of interesting moves:

    One-year free agent deals are the best free-agent deals.

    That’s a lot of money for Donaldson considering his 2018 season.

    There is no such thing as a bad one-year deal.

    Wow, this brings back so many memories of my childhood, reading those books "Greatest MLB players/Star Infielders/etc";

    Craig Nettles was fantastic (because I got to see him in the WS?)
    Didn't realize Rolen was so good when I was watching him, but he was damn smooth
    Didn't realize Santo was so good as well

    No love for Ken Boyer? Clete Boyer?

    Surprised that Miguel Cabrera is not mentioned (played 3B for Marlins and first what 6 years with Tigers?)

    Reggie Jackson is an Oakland A. He played for the Yankees (0’s)and Angels too

    Cabrera has 1125 career games at 1B vs 697 at 3B. He also played 300+ in the outfield early in his career with the Marlins.

    He's a runaway, slam-dunk pick as the Tigers' greatest 3B ever, despite only three seasons as a regular at that position.

    If you throw him in competition at 1B, he has to elbow Hank Greenberg out of the lineup (a pretty tight historical comparison).
