I am in agreement with political scientist and Bloomberg columnist Jonathan Bernstein, who wrote as early as last year that the likely outcome of Bernie 2020 would resemble Gene McCarthy's 1972 run. You can't really do sequels as an insurgent, because your role hasn't changed and the party has.

Where is the right for the government to ban abortions in the Constitution? In fact, abortions were not illegal in the 18th century and more specifically were not illegal in 1787-8 when the Constitution was adopted. Can the federal government regulate the practice of medicine? Is that in the constitution? No one aborts a child. Is a zygote a child? Is a blastocyst? Is an embryo a child? Why is age measured from birth, not conception, in entire recorded history?

I think a lot of people are more hoping to recapture the campaign coming together again. People created connections in that campaign that continue today. He brought a lot of people into politics. But you are right, he wouldn't enter as an underdog - if he keeps all of "his" voters through the primary, he probably wins just on a plurality with a larger field. But the nature of the race would be much much different.
More candidates means he would have to compete - rather than just be the anti-Hillary choice. He'd be better off putting his "stamp of approval" on two or three candidates and being a kingmaker, pushing his ideals through them.

Wikileaks refutes the Guardian report, but they did so in the past with Stone and how did that turn out?

In any event, reports say the embassy is under surveillance and Manafort would have been noted.

We shall see. Soon, I'd imagine.

Bernie Sanders, if elected, would turn 80 about seven months after taking office.

    I don't want no 80-year-old president, ever.

Bernie needs to put an end to the whole concept of him running and turn all his energies to eviscerating and annihilating Fucko and all his allies. Scorched earth. Unilateral assured destruction.
