    [QUOTE
The main reason I filled in the box next to Espy's name, however, was because it was a two-year term. I figured on two things if he won:
    1) It wouldn't change the balance of power in the Senate.
    2) Hyde-Smith would go away and the Republicans could find somebody better in 2020 to retake the seat. Now I fear we're going to be stuck with this moron for a generation unless she gets primaried in two years.[/QUOTE]

Wonder if Hyde-Smith recovered from the victory celebration. Heard she was three white sheets to the wind.

There were 188,000 miles on my 2003 Toyota Corolla when I gave it to a niece as a high school graduation present. Still going strong at her last report. I replaced it with a Subaru Forester, because I needed a bigger car to carry life's impedimenta, and of course all wheel drive is mandatory in New England if you have any sense.

I hope that the court does dig into the dirt on this case. There may be a lot of splash damage to those who were involved with Epstein's plane and yacht trips, and that would be just fine by me.

I've come to the conclusion that the problem isn't Pelosi or Hoyer or Clyburn - it's the caucus that keeps them in place. I guess there is some hope - they nominated Hakeem Jeffries, 48, as Dem Caucus Chair - the No. 4 spot.

I don't know what pisses me off more: the fact that American car companies have once again taken a big shit on customers like myself who prefer passenger cars to light trucks and SUVs or stupid American consumers, these gullible morons who are again going back to large trucks and SUVs. It was 10 years ago that we were paying $4.00 or more for gas.

One daughter drives a 2005 Toyota Highlander with 196k. My other girl drives a 2006 Toyota Camry with 185K I drive a 2012 Honda Accord with 125k. All made in Japan. All V-6 Engines

I don’t trust American car designers, American cars use cheaper parts, and I don’t trust American car workers to put them together. I don’t care if it’s Union Democrat workers in Detroit. Or non union Republican car workers in South Carolina or Tennessee.

I told a car salesmen once who tried to tell me how many Toyotas are made in the USA. If I wanted an American car, I’d buy one. I want a car built in Yokohama
