    That raid wasn't about Trump. It was related to people named in the Panama Papers from a few years ago. The Germans are focused on a unit of the bank based in the British Virgin Islands. Trump's loans are through the private bank (there is a long story about how he ended up doing business with them), from what we know. Unless he had another relationship with Deutsche Bank that we don't know about, and which was illegal, this has zero to do with him. I'm not saying that isn't possible, but it would be pure speculation right now. Deutsche Bank has a heap of money laundering and fraud things hanging over its head, and they may be getting Congressional subpoenas soon with regard to Trump's financial records, which are going to get scrutinized hard. So who knows what someone finds? But I think this morning really was about what the Germans learned from the Panama Papers that led them to a pair of bankers.

    They'll never admit it, but the Democrats have been Putin's wet dream. Instead of accepting the election results as the mathematical anomaly they were and blaming themselves for allowing it to happen, they have done exactly what Putin would have hoped: Claim the election was rigged/stolen and view the winner as illegitimate.

    Trump may be viewed as the puppet, but Putin could not have pulled the strings on the Democrats any better than their behavior has displayed.
