It’s easy to mock the return for Skinner now, but Mike Hoffman - who had similar numbers and came with another year of control at less money, didn’t fetch a first rounder either.

Tom Wilson has earned himself another break

Drives me nuts. Guy has skills and makes the Caps a better team. But he leaves his brain in his locker.

I am at a loss to how people can defend him at this point.

No discipline. But I’m sure he’ll do another interview with WaPost about how hes not gonna do this anymore so its all good

No supplemental discipline for Wilson. I don't defend him for the hits but I can recognize his play outside of the questionable hits has been great.

Okay cool.. as long as he says he won't do it anymore.

I hope Josh Manson or Nick Ritchie drops him in his tracks tomorrow. It would be better if Andrew Cogliano did it (f*** you, dept. of safety) but he won't.

Yeah, nobody is dropping Wilson in his tracks. I'll be at game, so I'll be sure to keep an eye on any developments.

A 2-on-1 break that the d-man botched and 2 redirections. Good for the Caps. None were Gibson’s fault. But he did lose his cool when the ref failed to stop play when Gibson’s mask broke.
How about Wilson cross checking Cogliano in the back after Cogliano scored. Cogliano was sent sprawling face-first into the crossbar.
