Eh, I dunno. Agreed that kids are off limits, but that's not a joke about Barron Trump.

 

Iowa Congressman Steve King joined the right-wing chorus of complaints over Sasha and Malia’s spring break trip, saying their visit to an “expensive” destination was the wrong image to be coming out of the White House.

The NRA kicked off 2013 with an ad that referenced the Obama daughters, attempting to peg the president not wanting armed guards in every school in the country despite his daughters enjoying secret service protection.

As far back as 2010, right-wing pundits including Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh mocked then 11-year-old Malia Obama for asking the president about the Gulf oil spill. Beck eventually apologized. Limbaugh didn’t

n November 1992, just a few days after Bill Clinton won the presidential election, Limbaugh launched one of the nastiest attacks of his career against then-12-year old Chelsea Clinton. He compared her to a dog.

 

I agree that Barron Trump isn't the focal point of the joke, but I don't think that kids should be brought up in any way.

The older Trumps? Game on.

On the scale of “using kids” crime, this is a parking ticket. This isn’t exactly McCain calling Chelsea the family dog.

I get that and this isn't a hill I'll die on, unlike Tony Oliva not being in the BBHOF, but the inclusion of Barron Trump is vital to the construction of the joke. Without his inclusion it doesn't work.

I don't think minor children should be any part. Personal opinion. Everybody's mileage will vary. The older Trump kids are fair game.

To the Romanov's, I loved this book when I was in high school in the 70s:
