Considering how much the GOP "hates" activist judges....but yeah - this judge might have thought he was a big hero, but he actually pulled the pin on a grenade and handed it to the Republicans and said "here you go!"

Chris Hayes is that guy at the dinner party who is certain he's the most clever guy at the table, and whom everybody else there is just as certain is a tool.
I like MSNBC's roster but he's the black hole in the lineup.
I respect Maddow's powers of analysis but her reciting court testimony for fuve minutes at a time - not real good television. Click.

Typical Maddow opening: "We've got a lot of news tonight so let's get started. In April of 1847...."

Maddow has a bit of Keith Olbermann in her, that "always has to be the smartest person in the room" vibe.

Fitting since she got her big break as a sub for KO.

    Another reason to despise KO.

Well, you and I both know that farms are businesses, and that those businesses are well-represented by lobbyists in every state capital, and in Washington DC. AFB and Monsanto and ADM and Cargill all lobbied against wotus.

I grant absolutely that these issues are complicated. Finding the balance between too-onerous regulation and environmental ruin is tough. But farmers and ranchers are as prone to myopic self-interest as any other for-profit enterprise.

Why Trump wants to repeal an Obama-era clean water rule

So WOTUS Is Legal. Now What?

In Water Rule Repeal, Trump Imperils Drinking Water Sources Serving 117 Million People

So what made ACA unconstitutional? The tax penalty for not having it?

If that is the case, then Congress takes out the tax penalty and hands it right back to Trump to sign.

This is something his base will feel. He’s taking their health care and the only people he can blame is Congress, right?

It also means less tax dollars for Trump to spend.

Absolutely. Which makes her ripe for the inevitable comeuppance.

An interesting take on stewardship and the environment.
