Look, there's no doubt some of this was documented.

Which, in some ways, makes the current reactions worse.

If you blamed a seven-year-old's death in 2018 on Trump, and the CBP, but you never blamed any deaths on Obama, there's something wrong with you.

It's the outrage at the family separations, kids in cages, and deaths, that have come only since Trump became president that I don't understand.

All of the "this is not who we are" exclamations imply that this is all unprecedented.

So where was this outrage during the eight years of the Obama administration?

And, why would we blame the president who has done everything he can to discourage immigrants from making this dangerous journey, and/or from crossing the border at place other than legal points of entry, but not blaming the president whose policies served as an incentive to immigrants to make this journey?

 

This, except the color of Big Mac special sauce.

 

Or 3-foot-long chunks of cement. All that cheese.

 

Because the Trump administration employed a zero-tolerence policy for family separations, hoping it would act as a deterrent to immigrants?
