Since the depression it has never been about cost and price competition but having the best product, the most advanced products using the most modern means of production.

Trumpism is ass backward economics subsidizing legacy industries and penalizing innovation. trump, conservatives and republicans are the most anti-American groups in the history of this nation

And if the crusty cum lickers like Larry Kudlow think that subsidizing tech companies is wrong remember that the railroads would not have been built by private business if the US Government didn't provide, essentially, free land and easements. Same with mining, timber and grazing

In Federal Court you are under oath when you answer the court's questions. If he makes that claim on Hannity or Fox he's committing perjury and possibly contempt of court. Though conservatives are generally disdainful of court and law enforcement this puts a little teeth in the push back
